Gregory GC Coppens
Greg is our Founder and Head of Player Development. He is the National Scouting Director for DSIB Agency under MLBPA agent Justin Hamilton. Under Coppens, over 275 high school athletes have moved on to collegiate baseball with six playing Professional Baseball. Working with athletes from the MLB to youth baseball, Greg Coppens or “Catching Barrels” is one of the greatest hitting coaches in the country.
During his most recent USA Baseball Coaching experience as the bench coach for the 2022 USA All Americans (red squad!), he was blessed having players on his team such as Elijah Green (First Round 5th overall), Cam Collier (1st Round 18th overall Reds), Roman Anthony (2nd Round 79th overall Red Sox), Nazier Mule (4th Round 112 overall) and more.

Playing Days:
A late round 2007 courtesy pick out of J Frank Dobie HS where he was a 3 year letterman and Honorable Mention All State. Staying draft eligible he played his Freshman year at Alvin Community College where they finished second at the NJCAA World Series in Grand Junction, Colorado to Texas rivals Grayson College. He also played and finished his college career at Hill College after a few small surgeries and health condition sidelined him for two seasons. He then bounced around in Indy Ball before deciding to be a Coach and Instructor.
Coppens specializes in Biomechanics and Human movement.
Armani Sanchez
Armani Sanchez was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He attended Heights HS in Houston where he was a standout 4 year letterman in baseball. He was Drafted by the Cleveland Indians (Guardians) in 2019 but decided to forgo the draft and his Collegiate commitment to Oklahoma University to attend San Jacinto Community College to remain Draft Eligible.
Armani was selected to the 2019 Under Armor All American game hosted at Wrigley Field showcasing the top amateur players int the world. (Bobby Witt Jr, Brett Baty, Anthony Volpe, etc.
During his collegiate career, Armani started at SS, 3B, 1B, and 2B showing his dominant versatility to a winning program. San Jacinto went to the NCAA Juco World Series twice while he was a Gator.
Sanchez did not enter the 2023 MLB Draft as he reached a professional contract agreement with the Saraperos Saltillo in the LMB. In his debut, Armani had 2 base hits in 4 at bats. 2024 will be Armani’s official Rookie Season in the LMB.
